Dr. Edward Fahy is a conspicuous Oral Surgeon with his compelling skills and achievmnets.
Dr. Fahy gained entry to the Specialist Register in Oral Surgery following completion of specialist training at Cork University Dental School and Hospital in 2024. He successfully defended his thesis on the application of visible light spectroscopy to diagnosis of oral cancer and received a Doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Surgery) from UCC.
He has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland Faculty of Dentistry since 2018, and was admitted to Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after completing Membership in Oral Surgery exams (MOralSurg). He received his qualification as a dentist (BDentSc) from Trinity College Dublin in 2012.
Dr. Fahy has published numerous articles, both nationally and internationally. He was awarded the RCSI/IADR Clinical Abstract Prize by the International Association of Dental Research in 2021.
He is a peer reviewer for the Journal of the Irish Dental Association. He provides a full range of oral surgery procedures, including removal of wisdom teeth, the exposure of impacted teeth, provision of dental implants and treatment of cysts of the jaw.
